PORTING MY NUMBER TO TELUS MOBILITY

  • Don't cancel your current service before switching to TELUS.
  • Your phone number must be active in order to transfer it.
  • Have your mobile phone and an invoice from your current service provider, and if possible, your service agreement when you transfer your number. We suggest you review your existing service agreement to find out what fees or charges would apply.
  • Only the authorized account holder can transfer a number.
  1. Call 1-877-868-3587 (you can call from a landline or from your new TELUS device)
  2. When prompted, say "English" or "French"
  3. You have 6 options to choose from:
    • Check # Eligibility
    • Transfer my number
    • Check status
    • Finish my transfer (to complete transfer process)
    • Resolve an issue
    • Frequently asked questions
    Say "Finish my Transfer"
  4. If prompted, say or key in your 10 digit telephone number
  5. Wait for a text message sent to your phone indicating the transfer process is complete
  6. Verify completion by dialling your phone number from another handset; if the transfer is complete your call will ring through on your new TELUS phone
  7. Done!
  • Your transfer is successfully completed when your TELUS phone receives a Text Message indicating completion of the transfer process.
  • If the transfer request has not been successful, you will be asked to please contact your account administrator.
